Carbon Neutral Production

Full Measure Oyster Company is the first and only oyster farm to implement a 100% carbon-neutral production plan. They rely on 124 solar panels to fully power their land-based operations, producing over 60,000 kilowatt hours of usable energy annually. This solar energy offsets the entire property’s electrical cost and even allows them to sell excess energy back to the local electric cooperative. Full Measure minimizes their environmental impact by harnessing solar power, ensuring their operations are as eco-friendly as possible.

Sustainable Practices

Full Measure Oyster Company’s commitment to sustainability extends beyond solar power. They are transitioning to an eco-friendly transport fleet, using clean idle eco-diesel trucks to deliver their products while minimizing their carbon footprint. Additionally, they utilize a 50 KWH propane generator for backup power, with plans to replace it with a battery system. We sell the oysters by the 1dz – 6 dz offer, freshly harvested in the shell.

The oysters are 1 1/2 – 2 1/2 inches in diameter- they are restaurant quality half shell oysters with a nice deep cup and plump meat   

Perfect for half shell, grilling of roasting   

They have a shelf life of 5-7 days if kept refrigerated with a damp cloth on top. If you need to keep them longer, you should shuck them and freeze them.
